Henry Pescatore, CPA | Co-Founder & Owner | President
Henry and John Reppucci founded Tax & Business Services of New England in March 2011. In his current position Henry is responsible for corporate oversight & staff management and, in addition, Henry provides direct assistance to clients with their tax and business needs.
With 31 years as a financial professional in the field of taxes and accounting, Henry’s specialization is in the area of Business Services. In this regard, he currently has working relationships with over 250 business clients where he provides a full range of services such as business valuation and tax strategies designed to decrease current & future tax liabilities. Additionally, for individual clients receiving stock & option grants, Henry specializes in developing beneficial tax-related strategies. As required, Henry serves as IRS Audit representative for his clients.
Before forming TBSNE, Henry served as Managing Principal of H&R Block Tax & Business Services for 6 years, where his responsibilities included oversight of a professional staff comprised of CPAs and Enrolled Agents. Prior to that, Henry spent 19 years with American Express Tax & Business Services in positions ranging from Senior Manager to Managing Principal.
Henry is a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Salem State College and a graduate degree in the Science of Taxation from Bentley College. Henry is a long-time member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Notary Public in Massachusetts. He is married and the father of two, an enthusiastic skier and golfer, avid Boston sports fan, and serves as Treasurer of Camp Leslie, the Essex County 4-H Club Camp.
John Reppucci, CPA | Co-Founder & Owner
John and Henry Pescatore founded Tax & Business Services of New England in March 2011. John serves as a senior company executive on issues relating to TBSNE corporate planning and staff management. Additionally, John provides a range of tax and consulting services to both individual and corporate clients.
John has over 30 years experience as a financial professional in providing tax and accounting services. For his business clients, John provides tax planning & return preparation services, payroll & bookkeeping support, and serves as an Executive Consultant on matters related to entity selection, business valuation, and mergers & acquisitions. Additionally, John provides stock option planning for his individual clients and, for both individual & business clients, QuickBooks & Quicken support and IRS Audit representation.
Prior to establishing TBSNE, John served for 6 years as a Director at H&R Block Tax & Business Services. Earlier experience includes 15 years as Director at American Express Tax & Business Services and 2 years as Regional Manager at Tax System of America.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salem State College and is a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant. He also holds a Massachusetts State Securities License and has been an IRS Enrolled Agent for 20 years. His long-standing financial professional memberships include the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents, and the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and he is a member of Strathmore’s Who’s Who. John is married and the father of two, a devoted fisherman and golfer, and an enthusiastic Boston sports aficionado.
Anthony Reppucci | Tax Accountant
Tony provides tax planning and tax preparation services to individual and small business clients designed to decrease both current and future tax liabilities.
With 14 years experience, Tony has served as Staff Accountant with TBSNE since its inception in 2011. Prior to that, Tony spent 6 years as a Staff Accountant for H&R Block Tax & Business Services and 7 years with American Express Tax & Business Services. Additionally, Tony has a long-standing relationship with Applied Materials (Varian Semiconductor) as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and has completed a number of accounting certification courses.
John V. Reppucci, EA | Tax Accountant
John V. provides tax planning and tax preparation services to individual and small business clients. Additionally, for business clients he prepares quarterly and annual payroll forms as well as bank reconciliations and general payroll.
In 2011 John V. graduated from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. While in school he interned at H&R Block Tax and Business Services and completed many accounting courses. After graduating, John V. has furthered his accounting education including the successful completion of the IRS VITA/TCE Certification. In 2016 he earned his Enrolled Agent Credential and also joined the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents.
Gina Reppucci, MSA | Tax Accountant
Gina provides tax projection, planning and preparation services to individuals and business clients. She provides bookkeeping services using QuickBooks and Quicken and prepares bank reconciliations for business clients.
In 2014, Gina graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 2016, Gina graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Science degree in Accounting with a concentration in taxation. She worked for two years at a public accounting firm where she conducted audits, financial statements, and tax returns for individuals and business clients. Gina joined the TBSNE team in November of 2016. Gina is currently in the process of becoming a CPA and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
Mary Jo (Jody) Thibedeau, EA | Tax Accountant
Jody assists individual & business clients with year-end tax planning services and tax return preparation. Her core responsibilities include preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, payroll, and individual tax returns. Additionally, she prepares business financial & cash flow statements and assists business clients with computation & analysis of a variety of financial information.
Jody’s career spans over 35 years in bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and Enrolled Agent services. Before joining TBSNE from its inception, Jody spent 6 years with H&R Block Tax & Business Services and 8 years with American Express Tax & Business Services.
Jody is a current member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents, and she holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from North Shore Community College.
Jim Grasso, EA | Tax Accountant
Jim assists individual & business clients with year-end tax planning services and tax return preparation. His core responsibilities include preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns. Additionally, he assists business clients with computation & analysis of a variety of tax information.
Jim’s career spans over 20 years in bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and Enrolled Agent services. Before joining TBSNE from its inception, Jim spent 9 years with H&R Block Tax & Business Services, H&R Block retail and Seacoast Tax Services.
